Tactic Practice is a free soccer tactics board and session planner. We built it to collect as little about you as possible. This page explains what that means in plain words.
The short version
- You don’t need an account.
- Your plans stay on your own device. We never see them.
- We don’t use analytics, ads or tracking cookies.
- If you contact us through the support form, we get the name, email and message you send.
Your plans
Plans you save are stored in your browser’s storage on your device (or inside the app on your phone). They are not uploaded to us. If you use Export plan or Share plan, a file is created on your device and you decide where it goes. Anyone you send it to can open it.
Support messages
When you use the contact form on the Support page, we receive your name, email address and message. The form is handled by our hosting provider, Netlify. We use this only to reply to you and to fix problems. We don’t sell it or use it for marketing. We delete support messages when they are no longer needed, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Hosting and technical logs
The website is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify’s servers automatically record basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don’t use these logs to identify you.
Fonts
Text on the site uses fonts from Google Fonts. To load them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. After the first visit, the fonts are saved on your device so the board works offline.
Offline storage
To let the board work at the field without internet, your browser saves a copy of the site’s files on your device. This contains no personal information.
Children
Tactic Practice is made for coaches and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through the support form, contact us and we will delete it.
Deleting your data
- Plans: delete them in the board’s Saved plans list, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Removing the app from your phone removes its plans too.
- Support messages: ask us through the Support page and we’ll delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
